CREATING PRESENTATIOS

WHY HAIKU DECK?

• It is simple
• Less bells and whistles
• Get to the point
• Can be shared with others

FIRST

• Download the app "Haiku Deck"
• Create a new account or sign in
• Type your email and a password
• Complete the account information
• Now you are ready to create

To add slides (decks)
Tap on the + plus sign
On the bottom right
To delete or copy a slide tab on the gear symbol on the slide

CHOOSE A THEME

• Click on the theme word above the slide
• Tap on each one to see the differences
• There are 6 free themes
• This one is the Picaresque

CHOOSE TEXT

• Tap on the orange Tt
• Select format
• There are 4 formats of text

TO CHANGE TEXT

• Tap on the slide and keyboard popups
• Notice the choices above the keyboard
• Text background
• The limited choices are best for less distractions
• You can turn this option off

ADDING IMAGES

• Tap on the image icon
• Search images by writing on the search bar
• Images from haiku deck are free to use
• Add to favorites/history
• Import a picture from camera roll
