1. WHO WAS HE?
- John Dalton was a scientist who discovered the Nature of atoms.
- Born in 1766 in Cumberland, England he lived his life as a teacher
- When he moved to Manchester he joined a Philosophical society
- This is when he got his Laboratory where he performed his research
2. WHAT DID HE DISCOVER?
- Dalton discovered the nature of atoms.
- He discovered that everything is made up of atoms.
- All atoms of the same element are identical.
- Compounds are made up of different atoms.
3. HOW DID THEY MAKE THEIR DISCOVERY
- John Dalton made his discovery in his lab in Manchester.
- He used ordinary science equipment to make his discovery.
- After moving to Manchester he had better equipment
- He could do more experiments.
