ATHLETES FOOT
Athletes foot is a fungal infection.
Causes a scaly rash, burning, itching, peeling.

BOILS & CARBUNCLES
Painful pus filled bumps under skin.
Caused when bacteria infects hair follicle.
4.
COLD SORES
Groups of small blisters which form around mouth.
Can burst open, leaking a clear fluid and scabbing.

DERMATITIS
General term for inflammation of skin.
Affected skin may blister, ooze, pop, and crust

IMPETIGO
Very contagious skin infection.
Most commonly found in children.
Appears as red sores on the face.

PSORIASIS
Common skin condition
Causes cells to build up on the skin
The extra cells cause 'scales' which are white and flaky
and painful red sores.

1ST DEGREE BURN
First degree burns cause red skin, swelling, and pain.
First degree burns should ne treated as minor burns unless on:
Hands, feet, face, groin, buttocks, major joint, then you should seek medical help.

2ND DEGREE BURN
Second degree burns include all symptoms of first degree burns and:
Blisters, severe pain and swelling, red, splotchy skim appearance
If the burn is less than 3 inches in diameter,
it should be treated as a minor burn.
10.
3RD DEGREE BURN
In event of a third degree burn immediately call 911
Do not: remove burned clothing, immerse burns in cold water.
Check for signs of circulation and elevate the burned body part if able.
Cover areas burned with a cool, clean bandage.
After the burn, ensure you have a tetanus shot.
