  • Attended St. Anthony's
  • St. Anthony's was the best school
  • Went to Oxford University
  • Studied for two years,
  • Latin and formal logic

CAREER

  • After his first two years at
  • the university, his father
  • pulled him out to become a lawyer
  • After Oxford he led a career
  • of being a successful lawyer.

ACHIEVMENTS

  • Wrote the book "Utopia" in 1515
  • 1523 elected Speaker of the House of Commons
  • Wrote the "History of King Richard III"

HOW HE DIED

  • More served as a councilor
  • For Henry III but later refused
  • To accept his offer from as head of the church
  • and was tried for treason. He spent a year in
  • jail before being beheaded.
