Blizzards
blizzards are dangerous winter storms that have a combination of wind and snow and result in low visibilities. blizzards often cause a drop in temperature and heavy snowfall but they are not required.

Occurs when snow partially melt in the air and then refreeze before it hits the ground as sleet.

An ice storm is a storm which results in 1/4 of an inch of ice to accumulate on the surface of all exposed objects. This created hazardous conditions for walking and driving. Tree Branches and power lines can snap under the weight of the ice
