Line
A mark with length and direction, created by a point that moves across a surface
This shows LINE because it is a mark with direction and length.
Shape
A flat figure when actual or implied lines meet to surround a space
This shows shape because everything in this is 2D and has lines surrounding a space.
Form
Objects that have or appear to have volume and mass (3D)
This shows form because it is (looks like it is) 3D.
Value
The element of Art that means the lightness or darkness of a figure
This shows value because the flower pot has a shadow.
Color
The quality that makes something red, green, blue, orange, etc.
This shows color because this picture is full of blue, green, yellow, etc.
Texture
The way a surface feels (actual texture) how it looks it would feel (simulated texture)
This shows texture because the scarf looks like it would feel and does feel bumpy.
Space
The empty or open area between, around, above, and below, or within objects
This shows space because the rim of the phone is around the open screen of the phone
