SUDANIAN GENOCIDE

The genocide was the mass murder a Darfuri men the the rape of the woman and children who were Darfuri.
480,000 people were killed and 2.8 million were displaced.

Who was responsible

• The janoweed malitiants were responsible for the
• killings. janoweed translates to devils on horse back.
• They were hated because they were so mean and heartless.
• They were mainly all from the SLM or Sudan liberation movement.
• Im my opinion, they were worse then Hitler.

It was beetween the Janoweeds and Darfuri men, woman, and children. The Janoweeds wanted the Recources that the civilians had and also they wanted to make a point.

They wanted to make their point to get more followers to come with them in the Sudan Liberation Movement.

Results

• No one has realy one the battle yet.
• Although the amount of violence in the
• past few years has decreased, but the violence
• is not completely over yet. The US helped make
• a force to help stop the violence.

Change

• Many of the people have migrated out
• of Sudan and not stayed to face the horrors.
• There has been a Goverment millitia that is
• goof and came in to stop the violence.
