  • They can't have a sensative stomach.
  • They must be precise.
  • They have to become certified.

NATURE OF WORK

  • They collect samples & perform body fluids
  • They study blood samples for transufusions
  • They log data
  • Tey dicuss their findings with the physicians.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • They are on their feet for lon periods of time.
  • Most work full time-even holidays sometimes.
  • They must wear PPE for protection & safety.
  • Most work in hospital facilities.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • They must have a Bachelors degree in medical technology.
  • No pre-training is required.

LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATE

THEY JUST HAVE TO PASS AN EXAM.

  • There isn't really an opprotunity to advance, except to change to a similar job that makes more money.
