PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE RISKS OF WAR CORRESPONDENTS

  • What are the dangers that war correspondents face?
  • Is the outcome worth the risk?

So is it worth the risk?
We say no, here's why...

DISEASES

  • War correspondents go to many different countries.
  • Most countries arent as advanced as the US.
  • Any reporter flying to Africa could catch ebola..
  • After catching ebola there wouldnt be good enough health care there to cure them
  • Plus if they tried to come back to the US they wouldnt even let them enter a plane.

PTSD

  • This is a very deadly disease and could cause nightmares leaving your screaming and crying
  • Mosts reporters dont experience war and people dying right in there face very often

KIDNAPPING/TORTURE

  • Most countries probably wouldnt want a repoter coming to there country and telling their business
  • Most of the time reporters do get kidnapped and tortured
  • When reporters go out to other countries theyre risking their lives and anyone else that they know
