THE INTOLERABLE ACT

DESCRIBE THE EVENT

• The British lowered the price of Tea without consulting the colonist.
• The colonist got mad and dumped the Tea AKA The Boston Tea Party.
• King made all them pay for the Tea.
• This Is Called "No Taxation without repensation."

Why did it Happen?

• They didn't consult the colonist with the lowering of the tax
• The King got mad about how much Tea got spilt.
• And made them pay for it.
• It was an Punishment for dumping the Tea.

How the Colonist felt after this occurred.

• They felt it went against their constitutional rights.
• A majority of them thought it was a cruel punishment.
• It also made them hate the British even more.
