A=P(1+R)^t

• A= the amount including the interest
• P= the amount before the interest is added
• R= the interest rate written as a decimal
• t= the time
• Ok now pretend you understood that

4m-3n=8

• get 4m by itself by adding 3n to both sides
• you'd get 4m=8+3n
• divide each side by 4
• 4m/4= 8+3n/4
• simplify and you'll get m=2+3/4n
