A is for Attractive
Pony Boy finished watching the movie at the movie theatre and thought he looked like a Paul Newman. He wonders what he would look like if he had his looks. He realizes it's not the case with him, so he is thankful for what he has.

B is for Bullying
In the 1960's people joined gangs and two of them were called greasers and the socs. Between the two of them they fought a lot. They fought with both there hands and even weapons and committed crimes. Also, the socs were the rich kids which would pick on the poor people which were the greasers.

C is for Cut
When pony boy was walking alone from the movies he was jumped by the socs. The socs pulled a blade on him which then Pony boy screamed for help. The socs tried to hurt Pony Boy and put their hand over pony boys mouth. Pony Boy eventually bit the soc, leaving a cut on his hand.

D is for Danger
In the 1960's gangs would get into fights which led to lots of injuries. One of the gang members got jumped because he was alone which then they beat him to a pulp. This shows that the greasers would be better off going with a buddy while walking or else they could suffer the same fate.

E is for Elite
Between the 2 gangs the socs were the "elite" meaning more power over the two. Also, they had more money that was for the rich which could also resemble part of the elite. Another thing that made them elite was that they jumped people to make them more powerful.

F is for the Fuzz
This means "the cops." The greasers go to a place called the dingo which is a place where they just hang out. They also give each other information. Another thing is when gangs get into fights and when switchblades are out everybody knows the cops are coming.

G is for Gangs
Pony Boy is part of the greasers which is a gang in the 1960s. People's joined gangs because everyone was apart of one. They were meant for violence, social clubs, and even to conduct criminal activity. The gangs are the socs and the greasers.

H is for Hatred
The greasers and the socs were always getting into fights. The socs would always jump the greasers if they were by themselves or if they were walking home. Also, the socs have no respect for greasers and don't like them at all. Time after time greasers always get attacked by the socs and the socs hurt the greasers.
