Eucharist

Definition

• At the last supper Jesus broke bread and offered wine for us
• The next day he carried his cross and died for us and our sins
• So that we may be united with him in Holy Communion  

The Sacrament

• The Eucharist is the heart of a Christan Communion
• Christ is always present of the Sacrament 
• And lives for the words "Do this in remembrance of me"

how does it effect us

• Christ give his self to us.
• When we take the Eucharist we are one.  
• Eucharist is the heart of the Christian community

• Heart of christian community.
• Eucharist brings us together.
• Reminder of Christ dying for us. 

preparation

• Most people don't think about how important Eucharist is. 
• We are all sinners so it should matter.
• If we receive the Eucharist with more awareness we can love.
