PRESENTATION OUTLINE

TRAIL OF TEARS

BY: JOSH PLATT

The trail of tears was a 1,000 mile walk to what is now Oklahoma. They were moved because gold was found on there land, and for profit from selling the land.

Many natives died on this trip from disease, malnutrition, starvation, and frostbite.

There were about 10,000 deaths on the trail tears. They were also not allowed to properly bury there dead.
