What was the Great Migration in the American experience? How did it affect African Americans in South Carolina?

-The Great Migration was when African Americans moved from the South to the west and north.
-The Great Migration was around the time period of 1916 to 1970

-This affected African Americans because they were pushed to leave the south because of unfair laws.
-Many groups of people were also against them.

-This affected South Carolina because they lost a lot of their farmers and sharecroppers.
-This lead to a decrease in crops.

-The better jobs were still hard working and difficult.
