Filters and warms the air as it enters the respiratory system

Air travels through the pharynx to the larynx

Ringed cartilage that contains mucus to further filter the air

The Carina
Where the trachea branches into the right and left bronchi

The Bronchi
The left and right bronchi carry air to the lungs
