Early Life

• I was one of the bravest NASA astronaut
• I was born in Cleveland, Ohio

Life's Work

• I flew to Gemini 6 spacecraft
• I flew on the Apollo 8 too!

Later Years

• In 1970 I flew to the Apollo 13
• An explosion happen and me and my crew had to work together to get back to earth safely.

Contribution

• I retired from NASA in 1973
• I went on to lead several companies in Texas.
