To start off, The Egyptians!

They lived in hotter areas, so you can expect them to not have much clothing.

Children's Clothing: Egypt

The children didn't wear clothing until they were 6 years old.
It's true, they didn't wear clothing until they were 6, but when they did, it was minimal, and only to protect them from the heat. But they did wear jewelry like necklaces and bracelets et cetera.

Women's Clothing

The women of Egypt normally wore straight dresses going down to thier feet.
During the kingdom period, it became fashionable for dresses to be pleated or draped. For the rich women, their dresses were made from transparent linen. Also, the rich women wore headdresses and jewelry for special occasions.

Mens's Clothing: Egyptians

All men wore a wrap-around skirt that was tied at the waist with a belt.
The length of the skirt depended on the the fashion of the time - in the time of the Old Kingdom, they were short, while in the Middle Kingdom they were calf length. During the New Kingdom period it was fashionable to wear a pleated garment. Rich Egyptian men could afford top-of-the-line linen which was almost transparent, and very fine.
Like the women, they wore headdresses for special occasions.

On to the Israelites!

These guys are MUCH more complicated.

Children's Clothing : Israelites

The children mostly got hand-me-down's from thier older siblings.
AS they grew, the children were dressed in sort of shapeless tunic. Goat's or sheep wool was commonly used, linen was more hard to produce, so it was only for the wealthy

Women had different clothing for festivals and work days, and clothes of the noble women showed the in influences of Greek, Roman, Egyptian fashions. Also, only the wealthy people wore jewelry.

The israelites were very colorful
