Donsier Camille was the first wife of Claude Monet. Camille was a model of many of his canvases

But having lived only 32 years she dies

In 1912, doctors Claude Monet diagnosed double cataracts. Having lost the lens on the left eye, Monet regained his sight, but began to see the ultraviolet as a blue or lilac color, which made his pictures acquire new colors. For example, drawing the famous "Water Lilies", Monet saw the lilies bluish in the ultraviolet range, unlike ordinary people, for whom they were simply white.
