Cesar Chávez was diligent because he cared about farm workers rights. He fasted and did a march from Delano to Sacramento, California. Cesar did that in the 1960s and his work is still here today.
Cesar Chávez was gallant because while he was marching he could have killed. He was also brave because if the fasts and the marches did not work the land owners might have killed him.
Cesar Chávez was selfless because he did a lot of work so that farm workers had rights. He wanted them to have clean water, breaks, and a long handled hoe.
