PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Innocence

I am the white in the roses you picked for the funeral

I am the red in the blood that you shed behind the closed door

I am the grey in the clouds shielding the sun making the day dreary

I am the green in the soft plush grass, where your tears and the dewdrops collide

I am the pink in your cheeks, shivering in the frigid silence

I am the black in the cat, purring in your lap

I am the silver in your favourite ring, worn dull by years of sitting untouched

I am the blue in the ocean view, with the waves crashing against your bare feet

I am the shadow underneath your eyes, caused by yet another sleepless night.

I am the brown in the tree you climbed, ready to end your life

I am the yellow in the tulip he gave you, enough to make you think twice

I am the tan in the coat he gave you, sacrificing his warmth for yours

I am the purple in the ring he gave you years later, shining in the sun

I am the gold sparkling on your finger, a symbol of eternal love

I was by your side throughout it all.

I am, to put it simply,

Your innocence.
