It provides the food for the economy
It is very good for mining becuse there is alot of copper, zinc, and silver
It protection from other people because the mountains are a barrier
And it makes the countries look good and bring up tourism

WHY THERE ARE MANY DIASTERS IN THE ANDES MOUNTAINS

Because it is part of the Ring of Fire which is where tectoinic plates meet
The altitude of the moutains causes many problems with the humdity
Altitude of the mountains is bad for health
