Baking Powder

  • Contains sodium bicarbonate and two acids, mono calcium phosphate ( which doesn't react with sodium bicarbonate unless stirred) and either sodium acid pyrophosphate or sodium aluminum sulfate which doesn't react unless it's wet and hot ( until you've put it in the oven. )

Baking Soda

  • Only contains sodium bicarbonate ( which reacts with vinegar and that's why you can make a volcano with them. )🌋
