PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Jesus:
Jesus, the Son of God, our Saviour, and the Light of the World. Jesus the Messiah sent by God to save the human race from sin.
The Dove:
The dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. A dove can symbolise many things, especially when they come with objects surrounding them such as, a dove with an olive branch in its mouth. This symbolises peace. Some saints also have the dove as their special symbol.
Eucharist:
We need the Eucharist to feed our souls for nurture and growth. The Eucharist was present and it was the main focus of the Last Supper. To this day we still receive the Eucharist, every Sunday at church.
Baptism:
Baptism is a catholic sacrament, in which a small amount of water is placed on a persons head. It is the first, out of seven Catholic sacraments that people receive.
Saint Anne:
Saint Anne lived with her husband, Joachim without bearing a child. God sent an angel to announce to Anne, that she would become pregnant with a daughter, that would be spoken around the world. Her child was the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Dove - Mark 1:10
"And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove on him."
