  • High frequency linear transducer

Lab Values

  • Antithyroidperoxidase in the bloodstream
  • TSH increased
  • T3 and T4 decreased

  • Right Lobe: 5.6 x 2.3 x 2.0 cm
  • Left Lobe: 5.4 x 2.2 x 2.5 cm
  • Isthmus: 3 mm
  • Abnormal echo pattern
  • Hashimoto Thyroiditis

  • Normal thyroid echo pattern vs. Hashimoto Thyroiditis
  • Gradual painless enlargement
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Middle aged women (30-50 years of age)
