MOLLUSKS

  • Soft bodies
  • Some have shells
  • Thick muscular foot
  • They take in oxygen through gills/lungs
  • Ex. Slugs,Snails,Clams

SPONGES

  • Have pores in their bodies
  • Very simple animals
  • They get food and eliminate waste
  • Specialized cells for obtaining food and oxygen
  • Water moves into their central cavity

ARTHROPODS

  • Jointed legs
  • Segmented bodies
  • Some have wings
  • Have exoskeletons and they breath through gills or air tubes
  • Ex. Insects,Arachnids,Crustaceans

SEGMENTED WORMS

  • Have long tube-like bodies that are divided into segments
  • Simplest organisms with a nervous system and blood in vessels
  • Long digestive tube
  • Take in oxygen from skin
  • Ex. Earthworms,Leeches

ECHINODERMS

  • Have arms that extend out from the middle of thr body
  • Have tubed feet that take in oxygen from the water
  • Have spines
  • Ex. Sea Star,Brittle Star,Sea Cucumber
