WHY STANDARDS SHOULD BE LOWERED

• Too much pressure on students
• Pressure to fit in with everyone and get the same grades
• Not everybody thinks the same way

• A 70 or above is passing
• Everybody must have that in every class
• Even though all 4 classes are very different
• Encouraged not to compare yourself to anyone else

• Everybody wants to do something different
• They won't (75% chance) need more than one subject they learn
• Could be learning something they WILL need

PRESSURE

• We have to get good grades and deal with core classes
• Must know so much about a subject we may not need
• Can't beat yourself up for not excelling in a certain subject

CONCLUSION

• Standards need to be lowered
• You can't force someone to be good at something they won't get
