TOTAL FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP
Day 1:
To be honest with you I am kind of sick of flying. I should have packed more things to do than this Travel Journal. Maybe next time I will think twice about leaving my books on the table. 19 agoning hours and 30 dreadful minutes later I finally realize the trip was totally worth it! Even though it is still dark outside the city of Jakarta is... really hard to explain. For my memories sake I will try to explain. It is amazing! The bright lights and inviting smells have perked my interest to see where this city will bring me. Not to mention the colorful hotels and, wait, is that a Sea World? I really can't wait to get started but for now I must get a car and rest at the Natour Garuda.
Day 2:
I have now woken up from one of the best sleeps I have ever had and now I am ready to explore this large city. First on the list is eating at Salt Grill, good I am starving!
The trip was a little long but now the food was delicious! Over all it was totally worth it. I had Seared and poached veal tenderloin, Parmesan and foie gras crust, caramelised pear, and red wine sauce. Along with Truffle oil and Parmesan French Fries one the side. Now that I have a full stomache I can't wait to go to the JKT48 theatre where I will see the JKT48 idol group. After that I will visit the Sea World located near by. Followed closely by a amazing dinner at Pandemagan and hopefully a good night sleep at Sharing-La Hotel.
Day 3:
Raja Sunda in Jakarta is excellent. The reviews are amazing and there are people out there that said that the resturaunt is either excellent, very good and average. The food is very good and then we went to Bandung zoo and we saw tigers, crocodiles, lions, elephants, monkeys, bears and birds. The Gedung Sate is a. If tall building that is white and dark brown.
Day 4:
The morning of the next day I still can't believe Padma Hotel has that good of service. Everyone was so nice to me that it felt like home, I haven't felt that since I was, well, home.
Today I had to drive to Semarang which took 6 hours and 13 minutes but I still made it and the Indonesian World Records Museum was one of the best things I have seen so far! It was full so many things I could barely keep track. One of my favorites was the smallest origami in the world! It was so cool and complicated. I don't think I could do an origami much less that size! Next I am going to go to eat at La Patisserie. Which I hear is very good. The next time you will hear from me will be tomorrow after the drive.
Day 5:
Yesterday after I ate we drove through the night in order to be in Talangagung by this time. The lay out for today is to visit Pantai Popoh Tulungagung then eat at The Justomie Café only then to go to the Brumbun beach. Then when I am done I get to go sleep at Merdeka Kediri. Hopefully it is a very fun and exciting day. I hope I remembered to bring a swim suit!
Day 6:
After sleeping at Merdeka Ketiri I fell fully rested a ready for a new day! Scratch that, I am feeling kind of sick. However I am determined not to miss anything, after all I am doing the Pabrik Gula Gondang Winangoen today I that was one of the only things I was looking forward too! After everything I am glad that I did get up. The drive to Klatenn took a little longer than I wanted it to because there were a few extra stops for me too... take a break. But The Pabrik Gula Gondang Winangoen was even better then I thought it would be! Not to mention the amazing food at Dinni's Indonesian Food, and then the Coyote Moon Vineyards. Over all I think the best part of my day is the Grand Tjokro Hotel where I get to sleep my butt off.
Day 7:
Today is my last full day in Indonesia and I want to make it special. I am going to drive back to Jakarta then go the Royale Jakarta Golf Club, Thousand Islands, eat at Amuz and then finish of the day at the JW Marriott Hotel.
Now I don't think I am going to write any more because I think I am just going to sleep on the ride home, now that I now how long it is. Besides getting sick, THIS WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER!
