center a-roads

  • What the Romans did first to build roads were put a trench down as the base
  • the trench was were the roads were suppose to be.
  • they placed pebbles,stones and cement and sand. 
  • that made the roads firm.
  • then that added another layer of cement with broken tiles.

center A-aqueducts

  • The Romans used the aqueducts for transporting clean/fresh water
  • that transported the water from rivers,lakes and streams.
  • the aqueducts went down hill so that could get there quicker.

  • The Romans had pipes the led to each bath.
  • if u wanted a warm bath you would go to tepidarium
  • and if u wanted a hot bath you would go to the caldarium 

center b-pantheon

  • "the pantheon is one of the greatest spiritual buildings in the world." 
  • It was first made a Roman temple 
  • and latter made a catholic 
  • the three rows and 8 columns 14 m {46 feet}

  • One of the leaders of Rome was Julius Caesar.
  • He was a politician and a military leader.
  • He had a family that very wealthy.
  • he also took contrail of the roman counsel

  • Julius grand-nephew became Emperor  
  • Augustus Caesar

  • the 12 tables was the first laws of the romans
  • some laws were cruel and unusual. 
  • punishment  was the same as ours 
  • it was writing in latin

  • Zeus is the he of the gods 
  • Aphrodite is the god of love 
  • Apollo is the sun god 
  • Ares is the war god
