PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Hygiene: Before cooking you must wash your hands.Microbes such as bacteria and viruses from the environment and the skin itself are always present on unwashed hands
Bench tops: Bench tops should be wipped down
Sharp equipment: Sharp equipment should be handled with care.
Beware of hot surfaces: Leaving your oven top on is a big no no!Your oven top should be turned off as soon as you have finished using it.
Never cook in loose clothes and keep long hair tied back. You don’t want anything accidentally catching fire (not to mention hair ending up in the food!).
Separate raw meat and poultry from other items whenever you use or store them. This precaution avoids cross-contamination of harmful bacteria from one food to another.
