It is extremelyimportant to maintain a professionl dress code when working in a healthcare setting. The Healthcare field is already notorious for people being stereotyped. In such a professional setting your image is everything. You always want to are sure that you are dressed appropriately and in the way that you would want to be treated and addressed. You will not earn the respect of others if you dress like you don't respect yourself.

Your personal image and personal skill affect your personal reputation in plenty of ways. Studies indicate that indicate that a physician’s appearance significantly affects perceptions of his or her professional image. It is proven that personal appearance can have both positive and negative effects on the physician’s overall reputation and success. You always want to dress for success to keep a positive clean reputation.
