When You Use It

  • You use it when you wish to argue a topic
  • You use it when you wish to persuade someone else of something

How You Use It

  • The 4 main types of Satire are:
  • Exaggeration- excessive
  • Reversal- reversal of heirarchal or chronological order
  • Incongruity- out of place
  • Parody- to make fun of

  • You use it to enhance your side of the argument
  • It is also used to diminish the argument of the opposing side
