• Why- to split allied armies with a surprise blitz krieg
• What- to defend they did a bulge like formation to keep the Germans at bae

In the end The Germany lost to many troops than their army could take and lost a lot of weapons and tanks that their industry could not replenish

If we didn't do the bulge tactic Germans would have caused a lot more casualties than they did before and could have possibly won the battle
