WHERE IS THE SPECIES FOUND?

  • In coastal waters
  • Mainly sighted around, Australia, South Africa, California, Mexico and the northern United States.

Why are great white sharks endangered ?
Scientists agree that their number are decreasing rapidly due to overfishing and accidental catching in gill nets. They are listed as an endangered species.

HOW HAS IT ADAPTED?

  • It can extend its teeth
  • It can smell blood 1/4 mile away
  • It can see in low light
  • It can camouflage well

WHAT CAN BE DONE?

  • People should stop buying and eating shark fin soup
  • Because if the consumer stops then the fishermen will stop

WHO ARE WE TARGETING? HOW WILL WE CONVINCE PEOPLE?

  • We are targeting all ages and especially the fishermen
  • Our catchy slogans will definitely persuade the consumers to stop buying and donate

WHAT ARE WE DOING TO HELP?

  • We are selling our t-shirts to raise awareness and money for the shark campaign
  • We will give out our leaflets to also raise awareness

HOW CAN WE ADVIOD EXTINCTION?

  • We will stop people hunting sharks
  • Educate locals not to kill young sharks and adult sharks
  • Educate tourists about the danger of swimming near sharks
