• He was born in March 15,1767 AD in the South Carolina colony.
• His mother was a farmer in Ireland before they moved to America.
• They Lived with his mother's sister for a while.

HERES SOME INTERESTING FACTS

• He had helped defeat the British in the war of 1812
• He gained the nickname "Old Hickory" because he was as strong as hickory branch
• He killed a man in a duel in 1806
• He had owned some slaves in his life
• He was believed to have 17 children in total

As a president he had a full 8 year presidential running.
And as far as being a general in the war of 1812,he gave a major leap in the strength of America over the British in the war.

And of course,to get a full grade,I have to have a quote from Andrew J.

Andrew Jackson passed away in 1845 due to Tuberculosis at the age of 78
