1930s Presentation

It's a poster about choosing to be a slave for the Nazis.

It's portrays on why you shouldn't join the Nazi Party.

These people are working for a small amount of money in Maryland

I like it, because it really shows the struggle that families were in back then.

A black family in subdivision

Her smile is showing that you their is hope even in the darkest times.

Crowded housing in West Virginia.

I chose this because it's sad that parents who couldn't support their children, had to give them up.

Kids playing in the hills

The kids back then didn't have much to play with, that's sad because I couldn't imagine boredom for that long.

12 year old girl living in a makeshift home that is half an old ford truck

This really gets me, I can't imagine adulthood at the age of 12 I would die without my parents.

Tennessee Valley Authority

I chose this because, the dam construction made 1000s of jobs for people and it's this kind of stuff that can change lives.

A farmer's wife making pies for a living

IT really shows how you could get by with WPA, and the government helping people is key to success. I like that.

A farmhouse buried by dust

How nuts would it have been if this happened recently, I can't imagine the terror it did, I chose this because I cant even comprehend this pile of dirt.

Dust bowl refugees traveling to California

They had to move because it got so bad, I chose this because it's kind of similar to the Syrian refugees leaving because of war.
