Unique things about Pennsylvania

  • Unlike other colonies they have more calm winters
  • Pennsylvania is one of the bread basket colonies—because they make the most wheat and sell it to the other colonies

Come to our colony because...

  • We make the most wheat and bread, and have good land for farming
  • We have religious freedom
  • FUN FACT-Pennsylvania was named Pennsylvania because King Gorge the ll wanted to use part of William Penn's name. So he combined Penn + Sylvania which is a Latin word meaning woodland.
  • We have beautiful landscape with mountains, a lake, farmland, and woodlands
