The parents are like the nucleus becuase they control what happens in the house, like the nucleus controls the growth and activity in the cell.

REFRIGERATOR

The refrigerator is the the vacuoles becuase it stores food and water for us. Sometimes there are multiple refrigerators in each house, like the vacuole stores materials for the cell.

MAILBOX

The mailbox is like the Golgi apparatus because it holds the mail we take into the house and holds the things we send out of the cell, like the Golgi apparatus transports things in and out of the cell.

THE PARENTS’ DESICIONS

The parents’ decisions are like DNA because they are the instructions on how to run the house, like the DNA’s instructions run the cell.

ROOMS AND HALLWAYS

The rooms and hallways is like the endoplasmic reticulum because we travel through them, like materials travel through the endoplasmic reticulum.

FRONT DOOR

The front door is like the cell membrane because it lets things in and keeps what we don’t want (such as home invaders or burglars) out, like a cell membrane lets things in and keeps other things out.

The kitchen is like chloroplasts because it’s where food is made, like the chloroplasts is where photosynthesis is made.
