AUSCHITZ 1

• Main Auschwitz camp
• Used force labor to constantly expand the camp
• Held the main majority of Jews/prisoners
• Also used to kill of small amounts of targeted people by the Nazis.

• Established in vincity Brzezinka in October 1941
• Had largest population of prisoneers
• Played a central role in eliminating Jews as people the Nazis were after

AUSCHWITZ 3

• Established in October 1942
• Made mainly to make prisoners work at their factorys
• Had a labor education camp,for non Jewish prisoners

EVACUATION OF AUSCHWITZ

• Soviet Union approached the camp in mid January 1945
• Ss forced many prisoners to march west of Auschwitz
• These prisoners were mostly jews and if they
