Organizing students into groups allows students to work together to learn

Cooperative Learning
Students evaluate information individually, then collaborate. This strategy allows students to get multiple ideas and collaborate openly on the subject. Students can defend their own ideas and information, while learning additional information from classmates.

Cooperative Comparisons

Students work in groups to develop answers to questions.
Questions are usually self reflective which helps students understand the progression they have made.

Performances and Peer Critiques
Students must demonstrate the information that they have learned. They then are subject to peer reviews for constructive criticism.

Technology & Cooperative Learning

Technology allows students to take notes, and do online flashcards to learn!

Technology & Cooperative Comparisons: Students are able to use technology programs to makes exciting analogies. Online programs such as prezi are exciting to pair with comparison analogies! This keeps students focused on learning!

Technology & Performances/Peer Reviews

Using technology to encourage online classroom blogs allows constructive critisim from peers!

Implementing Cooperative Learning

Allow students to complete taska and then meet up in small groups to discuss

Implementing Cooperative Comparisons

Allow students to collaborate in small groups to answer comparison questions

Implementing Performance &Peer Critiques

Require students to demo learned knowledge using a project and allow peer review!
