My author i chose was. F. Scott Fitzgerald also known as Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald. Here is a Brief biography on him.

He was born on September 24, 1896 in St. Paul Minnesota. He was a son to Edward Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald.He believes he became a wroter three months after he was bron when his mother lost her two other kids.

One of his best novels was The Great Gatsby. This novel was about the complex and loving relantionship between the two main characters, Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan.

The Great Gatsby ironically is based off his relantionship with his fiancé at the time. His wife, Zelda Sayre, insipred the character Daisy for this book and many others.

One of the more famous quotes from his novel, The Great Gatsby, was

“Angry, and half in love with her, and tremendously sorry, I turned away.”

Even though in real life he has a successful marriage it was still amazing to him be able to write about heartbreak and sorrow.

Just as that quote was significant, he also was very significant too. His literary works shaped the writing world for so many years. Even though some books did amazing and some didnt, that didn't mean that his works werent good.

The Great Gabsty is one of my all time favorite novels and to be able to see his personal growth in wealth and in writing is interesting. Even though I have only read onenof his novels I can highly recommend his work, it is very mind turning.

This brings me to my essential question,


To what extent does love change the perception of someones desires?


To offer an answer, I would say that it completely depends on the person. Because in the Great Gatsby, the main character Jay is a man that desire wealth in the beginning but as we see him fall inlove, his desire becomes Daisy. That shows that his desire to become more and more wealthy altered because of a special girl.

This brings me to the end of my presentation but here is an overview. FScott Fitzgerald was an amazing writer who lived 44 years and wrote about 40+ novels, books and short stories. His book that did the best was The Great Gatbsy.
