The founding leader of Christianity is Jesus. Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. Christians believe Jesus is the awaited Messiah (Christ) of the Old Testament. Jesus was born in 7-2 B.C, and died in 30-33 A.D.
Good Friday- Christians don't necessarily celebrate Good Friday. Instead they mourn over the death of Jesus, and the reminder of the sins that made it necessary for Jesus to die. Yet, it's also a day of gratitude for the sacrifice he made.
Palm Sunday- Christians celebrate in a joyful manner during services, in which they indicate the glory of Jesus.
Christianity teaches that God is a Father, son, and holy spirt (Trinity). Christians believe that there is only one God, who they call Father. Christianity is divided into many groups, and the major ones include Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestantism. Most who follow Christianity believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross, was buried, and was then resurrected. He grants eternal life to those who believe in him and that he died for forgiveness of their sins.
