PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Party Cookies

WILL BINKLEY, DANIELLE HANCOCK, JAELYNN HARMS, EMMA SMITH, JOSEPH YAKABOWSKAS

PRODUCT

  • Oreo Cheesecake, Brownie, Chocolate Chip, Funfetti cookies and White Chocolate Peanut Butter Ritz Crackers.

Price

  • Expenses: $42.74 for all of the purchased baking items (Cream cheese, butter, Oreos, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baker's chocolate, eggs, and baking sheets.)
  • We marked up our price $0.50, depending on the size of the cookie, for a retail price of $0.50 to $1.50.

PLACE

  • Each group member sold their cookies individually over 4 days.
  • We sold before/after school, at work, and at home.
  • By doing this we reached larger markets and moved more product.

PROMOTION

  • We created posters, posted on social media, and used direct contact to advertise our product.
  • Some objections we encountered were: "I'm on a diet" and "I don't have any cash"
  • We responded by saying: "Everybody needs a cheat day" and "We can hold some for you"

SALES EXPERIENCE

  • We were able to sell almost all of our individual cookies.
  • All of our customers enjoyed their cookies and came back for more!

RESULTS

  • Emma: 2 cookie cakes for $1.50 a slice
  • Danielle: 12 cookies for $1 each
  • Jaelynn: 14 cookies for 2/$1
  • Will: 10 cookies for $1 each
  • Yak: 14 crackers for $0.50 each
  • A total revenue of $67.00
  • A total sales of $24.26

REFLECTION

  • What we would change: Make more product and advertise more.
  • Selling individually allowed us to make more money by selling to our individual families and friends.

CONCLUSION

  • This project taught us that the Marketing Mix requires a lot of work.
