HOW TO BECOME A LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN

STEP 1: DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A CITIZEN

• Were you born in the U.S.?
• If you were you might already be a citizen of the U.S.
• Are any of your parents american citizens?
• If so again you might already be a citizen
• You have to be at least 18 years of age.

If you find out you aren't an American citizen then you will have to follow the rest of these steps in order to become one.

STEP 2: IF YOU ARENT A CITIZEN YET...

• Then you need to live in the U.S. For at least 5 years
• But if you are married to a U.S. Citizen then you only have to wait 3 years

STEP 3: THE NATURALIZATION TEST

• After your 3 or 5 years is done your ready to take the test
• When you are ready you can go to a website or court building to take the naturalization test

You don't have to wait exactly 3 or 5 years it is up to you when to take it. But 3 or 5 years is the minimum years required to take the test. You can wait however long you want to study. It is only questions about America.

Like what is the capital of the United States or who did we win our independence from or something like that. There might be a few that you don't know but it doesn't matter.

That's isn't all to it though it isn't that easy. You still have a little bit more to the test than just that. Another thing you have to do is read a sentence in English with no pauses or mistakes.

STEP 4: PASSPORT

• After the test you have to go take 2 passport photos
• After those photos they will make you your passport and give it to you

STEP 5: ENJOY BEING AN AMERICAN CITIZEN

• Once all those steps are over your done
• Your a legal american citizen

I hope now that this speech is over that you learned how to become an American citizen. Once you are done with all these steps, you will be an american citizen you will be able to join the military or stuff like that when you are done. This doesn't mean that you are no longer your original race because this didn't change anything about your old race.
