Ill, Ponyboy felt like he was sick to his stomach when had just seen Johnny. Two-Bit had put his hand on Ponyboy's head and said he felt hot. Ponyboy said not to tell Darry because Darry wouldn't let him got to the rumble if he was sick.
Jacket, all the greasers wore jackets. It was like it showed who they were. Dally gave Ponyboy his jacket, when they ran away so Ponyboy would stay warm.

Knife, Two-Bit had a switch blade and he and Ponyboy were sitting in the hospital with Dally and Dally asked for his knife. He said they had to win the rumble for Johnny.

Late, Ponyboy is late to his house one night because him and Johnny had fell asleep in the lot. Darry got mad at Ponyboy because it was really late and Darry had been worried sick. Ponyboy said that they fell asleep but Darry didn't believe him.
Mustang, One of the Socs drives a blue mustang. Whenever the Greasers see that blue mustang they always think trouble. Johnny is afraid if that mustang because the Socs drove that car when he got beat up.

Nobody's, Everybody thinks the greasers are just nobody's. But they are just normal people that just are in a gang and care about each other, unlike the Socs. People are starting to think that the greasers aren't nobody's because Johnny and Ponyboy saved the kids from the burning church.
Over-active, Ponyboy says that he has a over-active imagination because he woke up in the church and nobody was there. He started to think maybe Johnny had been gone for a whole week and he had just slept, maybe he had already been worked over by the fuzz and was waiting to get the electric chair, and maybe Dally had been killed in a car wreck and no one would ever know where Ponyboy was, and he would just die in that church.
