THE TRAGIC DAY AT SANDY HOOK CONNECTICUT

SANDY HOOK

• Decemeber 14th 2012 there was a mass murder at Sandy Hook School Connecticut
• 26 people were pronounced dead 20 were children
• The man who killed them was Adam Lanza
• Adam broke his way into the school, first killing the Principal
• He then went to the classroom and he was able to reach 20 kids and 6 adults

SANDY HOOK

• Lanza brought 3 guns, 1 rifle an "Bushmaster(AR-15) and 2 pistols a Glock 10mill" and "Sauer 9mill"
• After he took the life of the innocent children and adults he also took his own.
• Everything happened in less then 11 minutes.

Background on Adam Lanza

• He lived with his mother
• A few months before the attack Lanza didn't talk to his mom unless it was email
• Lanza put put black trash bags over windows one month before the shooting
• In 2005 Lanza was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome which is a form of Autism.
• People with Aspergers are more likely to commit violent crimes then any other people

MORE BACKGROUND

• Lanza's mom had 7 guns in the house
• He used those guns to commit the crime
• Lanza had obsession with mass murders and he had spread sheets of them
• cleverly planned the attack, killed himself and mother so no charges can be pressed

Resolution:
We believe there is NO resolution to this problem because there will always be people in this world with guns and we wont be able to stop them. The government could use a gun law but that wont stop people killing other people.
