• Taller than a forty-four to sixty-six story building
• Its base width is 660 feet
• Crest width is 45 feet

WHEN WAS IT BUILT?

• Construction started in 1931
• Completed in 1935

WHO BUILT?

• Congress paid the money for the constuction
• Six Companies Inc. was the contractor
• Ninety-six lives were lost
• 21,000 workers total built Hoover Dam
