America made the Japanese internment camps because of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Americans were afraid that the Japanese people were giving military secrets away. They were caught up in something called "war hysteria".

The Jewish concentration camps were run by Hitler. He wanted only white people to be on Earth so he set up camps to exterminate the Jews.

The first concentration camp was Dachau established by the National Socialist government. Other wise known as the Nazis.

In the Jewish concentration camps all the people inside were slaves and the Nazis worked them half to death and there wasn't enough food to go around

Inside the Japanese internment camps there weren't any gas chambers or shootings. Something less welcoming at the camps were the barbed wire fences.

At one of the camps there were three layers of barbed wire fences.
