What is figurative Language?:
- Figurative Language is when writers use words or phrases to help readers picture ordinary things in new ways.
Types of Figurative Language:
- Simile
- Metaphor
- Personification
- Imagery
Simile: a phrase that compares two unlike things using like or as
Metaphor: A phrase that compares two unlike things by saying one is another.
Imagery: Descriptive language
Personification: to describe something as though it were a person.
