  • He was born Dec. 5 1901.
  • Sorcerer Mickey was the first movie; Snow White was next.
  • Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was his first famous animation creation.
  • His full name is Walter Elias Disney.

  • He dropped out of high school at 16.
  • He helped WW1
  • He joined the Red Cross Ambulance Crops
  • He was too young when he first attempted but then he dressed up as a grown man and got in. He was only 17.

  • His barber used to give Walt free haircuts for drawings
  • Mickey Mouse was created in 1928
  • After WW2 Walt and his friend were unfair and took random helmets and shot wholes in them and poured red paint on them. Then sold them.

  • His wife didn't like the name Mortimer Mouse she said it sounded "pompous"and that she preferred Mickey Mouse.
  • When Mickey Mouse spoke for the first time in 1929's The Carnival Kid his first words were Hot Dog,Hot Dog.
  • Walt was upset with how Mickey Mouse's voice sounded and lend his own voice to Mickey Mouse until 1947's Mickey And The Beanstalk when he said he was too busy to continue doing so.

  • Though Walt was afraid to make fun of the Nazis, in 1943 he made an animated short to make fun of them. It starred Donald Duck.
  • The original Disney Land was in California.
